Day of Code is a full-day interactive event dedicated to inspiring Sri Lankan youth to explore the world of computer science. It advocates for educational equity and celebrates the vital contributions of students, teachers, parents, and partners to the tech field.

In 2021, the STEMUP Educational Foundation organized the Day of Code in partnership with the Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA) and Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC. The successful event was held during Computer Science Education week.

Continuing this momentum, the 2022 edition was hosted in partnership with Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC and SLT-MOBITEL.

As an award-winning non-profit organization, STEMUP strives to expand the reach of Day of Code every year, furthering Scientific, Technological, Engineering, and Mathematical (STEM) knowledge among Sri Lankan students.
